Blue Ladder
41″ W x 52″ H
My father’s farm in Minnesota remains one of my favorite childhood memories. It came complete with a chicken coop, a rickety barn, rusty well water, and an apple orchard. The orchard was a special point of pride with the family. We sold Winesap, Jonathan, and a version of apples my father claimed to be called by the romantic name of “Prairie Spy”.
Blue Ladder is a fused art quilt created with hand-dyed cotton fabrics and machine-quilted.
