Using a needle and thread like a paintbrush, I create lines, patterns, textures, and shapes in vivid colors to express my view of the world. And like this bluebird in flight, I feel joy, freedom, and happiness by inventing my journey as I go.
Bluebird with Happiness #1 is an improvised design created with felt and wool fabrics and is hand-embroidered with cotton threads dyed by the artist. It is framed and ready for display.
