Stitch by stitch I build tiny homes from thread. Embroidery stitches create their windows and doors. Thread upon thread constructs rooftop gardens, sheltering trees, and the occasional small boat on the river. And, as I stitch, I imagine the pleasure of living in a whimsical house surrounded by a colorful landscape.
